2 DPWH Employees in Iloilo City Luckily Survive the Ambush Happened Monday
2 Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) employees going to work reportedly survive the ambush that happened in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
According to the report of ABS-CBN News, the victims were identified as Engineer Eva Bedonia, chief of quality assurance of DPWH-Iloilo 4th District Engineering Office, and the driver, Rogelio Serilo Jr.
The two were both going to their office to report for duty when they are attacked by the suspects. Based on the report, two suspects ride a motorcycle and shot their pick-up vehicle.

The vehicle had 5 bullet wounds on the passenger side where Bedonia was sitting. According to the Sta. Barbara Police Station, Bedonia may be the target of the ambush as they continue their investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, a Barangay Chairman in Malabon died after being shot by unknown suspects inside their compound. Gunmen caught on CCTV riding a motorcycle and enter their compound.
