Two Men Onboard Jeepney Shot To Death In Quiapo, Manila

QUIAPO – Two men, who were onboard a public utility jeepney (PUJ) were recently shot to death in the district of Quiapo in Manila.

According to a report from Manila Bulletin, the victims were gunned down by four unknown assailants in broad daylight.

The police identified the victims as Felizardo Pablico, aged 49, resident of Sta. Cruz, Manila; and Reynaldo Nuque, Jr., aged 49, resident of Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City. 

Pablico is rumored to be a member of the Sputnik Gang, the police added.

Initial investigations show that the two victims were onboard a jeepney plying Quezon Boulevard at 10 AM.

This occurred when four unidentified gunmen, who were wearing black jackets, helmets, and face masks, appeared on the right side of the vehicle and shot the victims,

The suspects fled away from the scene of the crime and headed toward Recto Avenue. Police are conducting further investigation regarding that matter, based on the report.

In another shooting incident, a barangay chairman in Malabon was shot by an unknown assailant and died at a compound in Malabon.

The suspects, who were riding-in-tandem, immediately escaped. A manhunt was then immediately conducted.

The motive of the murder was not determined but drugs might be the most possible since the victim was previously on the narco-list.
