Cellphone Snatcher in Binondo, Manila Arrested After Caught by Its Victim
A CCTV footage caught a cellphone snatcher in Binondo, Maynila being chased by his victim together with its colleagues.
Robbery has been one of the most common crimes happening in various countries all around the world including the Philippines. Most suspects have no choice but to rob other’s possession due to poverty.
The police authorities have already advised the public to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings to avoid being a victim. The Philippine government is also implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent crimes.
The CCTV in Barangay 282, Binondo has caught a cellphone snatcher running after stealing a mobile phone. A truck passenger also threw a heavy box towards the culprit, which sent him pummeling on the ground.
The suspect was able to stand up and run away to escape the residents who were chasing him. The victim, truck passengers, and the police authorities chased the unidentified suspect and eventually cornered him.
The cops arrest the suspect and the mobile phone has been recovered and returned to the respective owner.
