Security Consultants Blames Social Media after Xian Lim House Robbed
Social media is the one to be blame after the house of the actor Xian Lim was robbed when he was not around, security consultants said.
Xian Lim’s house has been reportedly robbed recently. Thieves broke the window glass, then slammed the door lock to open it and swept away all the TV sets, and his computers as well as his other belongings.
The total amount of those who stole from him is still undisclosed. However, he is just thankful that no one was hurt from the people living in his house. He was with his mother and his grandmother at home.
Meanwhile, many say those things happen, and partly social media can also be blamed. Because of the vlogs that are made, evil people get an idea of what they can steal inside a house, especially if they are personalities like Xian.
In addition, because they post their activities, criminals know when they are not in their homes, and that is what the thieves are tempting. Undoubtedly, that is another of the negative effects of social media, the more evil-doers have a chance to know what is inside private homes.
Based on the article of Hataw, security consultants advise first do not to post on social media when you are not at home or when the whole family has an outing example or vacation.
Also, don’t post all your personal information used on social media that other people can use to harm you. And most importantly, do not let the inside of your home be seen on social media through your vlogs or other videos.
