Toni Gonzaga has not spoken yet about the FDA Advisory
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga has remained silent on the advisory from the Food and Drug Administration against her perfume business called POUF!
The said product line is under TGWW Everyday Lifestyle, Toni’s joint venture with vlogger Winnie Wong. Based on the advisory, the public is being warned against purchasing and using the said perfume.
FDA stated that the perfume business was not able to secure proper license and so this can cause potential hazards to consumers.
“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute violate cosmetic product until they have fully complied with the rules and regulation of the FDA,” the agency stated.
In a previous report, Winnie Wong was already asked to react to this. However, she refused to say something regarding the FDA advisory and just said that she will let her legal counsel handle this matter.
Amid this issue, Toni Gonzaga has not spoken anything about this. Even though she has not released yet any statement concerning her perfume business, based on the article by entertainment columnist Reggee Bonoan in Bulgar, a person close to her was asked about this.
“Feeling ko naman, alam nila (Toni) ang isyu kasi nasa news naman. Sa ngayon kasi, hindi naman pinag-uusapan,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga has received bashing just recently following her forgiveness post that was intended to Pinoy Big Brother housemate Russu who was evicted due to his “Yes to ABS-CBN Shutdown” remark. Kapamilya writer Jerry Gracio also slammed her.
Because of this netizens campaigned online that she must be evicted from the PBB house.
