BBE TONI trends on Twitter due to Toni Gonzaga’s recent statement
Netizens started the BBE TONI trend on Twitter following the “forgiveness” post of Pinoy Big Brother host Toni Gonzaga.
After the eviction of housemate Russu Laurente due to his “yes to ABS-CBN shutdown” remark, Toni posted about “forgiveness” on her Instagram account.
“I hugged the boy after the show and he kept apologizing. Forgiveness is a gift everyone deserves,” the actress-host shared in her post. Although her words were admired by many, there were quite a lot also who bashed her for this.
Several netizens even stressed that her “understanding” and “forgiveness” for the PBB housemate has something to do with her being “DDS”. People have been tagging Toni as a “die-hard Duterte supporter” for quite a while now.
After her name trended on Twitter on Monday, netizens made the BBE TONI a trend also. Apparently, they are calling the attention of Big Brother to evict Toni Gonzaga.
She has been one of the hosts of the Kapamilya network’s reality show since it started. However, several netizens expressed that they don’t want her to be part of the show anymore.
