The Pinay singer Lani Misalucha has shared her first selfie of the year after battling with bacterial meningitis.
Last month, Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha announced that she and her husband Noli have lost all hearing in the right ear due to a life-threatening illness. The couple experienced headache, dizziness, and body ache.
The singer revealed that she initially experienced hearing deficiency and a high-pitch sound before she and her husband go partially deaf. She felt devastated because hearing is crucial to her being a singer.
Recently, the 51-year-old singer has shared her first selfie of the year after battling with bacterial meningitis. She also apologized to her fans on Instagram due to the effects of the illness to her physical appearance.
Misalucha also revealed that her face and body suffered swelling over the past few weeks after using steroids for the inflammation on her nerves in brain. She is now using a hearing aid because of what happened to her right ear.
