Sylvia Sanchez has mentioned this about the career of Ria Atayde
Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez was asked about the future project of her daughter actress-host Ria Atayde.
Ria was under the management of the Kapamilya network before she had a project on TV5. Amid the pandemic and the shutting down of ABS-CBN, she is one of the lucky artists who still have project offers.
She hosted a morning talk show in the Kapatid network titled Chika, BESH! with Pauleen Luna and Pokwang. However, based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, the said show that started airing on August 17, 2020, was not renewed any more.
It is produced by Archangel Media, the sister company of APT Entertainment of Mr. Tony Tuviera. In line with this, entertainment columnist Jun Lalin asked Sylvia Sanchez if her daughter is set to have a new show on TV5.
The award-winning actress said, “Balik-ABS-CBN siya. Magla-lock-in taping na si Ria for MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya). Actually, January 12-15 ang lock-in taping niya.”
Sylvia also clarified that it was Star Magic, the talent management firm of ABS-CBN was the one that gave her the morning talk show project in the Kapatid network.
Now that the said show already ended, Ria is back in doing projects in the Kapamilya network. Because of this, Lalin said that it is easy for Ria to return to her home network as there was no conflict that happened between them.
Meanwhile, Sylvia Sanchez is set to return to lock-in taping for a new project titled Huwag Kang Mangamba with the Gold Squad – Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri.
