Is it true that Ali Sotto resigned from her radio program with Arnold Clavio?
Actress-radio host Ali Sotto allegedly resigned from her show on DZBB ‘Dobol A sa Dobol B’ with Arnold Clavio due to an issue concerning “sibuyas”.
The said program of Arnold and Ali started airing in 2014. Fans and avid listeners of the show wondered about the sudden absence of the latter. In the same timeslot, a new program is now airing, the One on One Walang Personalan.
Arnold’s partner in this show is Rowena Salvacion. Based on the article by Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, a conflict happened between Ali and Rowena.
As what was mentioned in a recent episode of Take It! Per Minute… Me Ganun show of Lolit Solis, Cristy Fermin, and Mr. Fu, the said conflict started from “sibuyas”.
According to the story, Ali Sotto mentioned in the show that she can’t believe the high price of onions now. Because of this, one of their avid listeners wanted to deliver onions to Ali as a gift.
However, it was said that during the delivery, Ali and Arnold were on-air already and so the female radio host asked or requested the PA to get the delivery for her.
“Kaso nalaman daw ng isa sa top gun ng DZBB na si Rowena Salvacion ang nangyari na umabot sa argumento ng dalawang kilalang personalidad ng radio network ng GMA 7. As in mainit daw ang naging argumento nina Ali at Rowena hanggang makarating kay Mr. Mike Enriquez,” Asis said in her article.
She added that it was an issue for Rowena that Ali had to ask the PA for her personal errand. With this, Mike Enriquez, reportedly advised Ali Sotto to let this matter cool down. However, Ali chose to resign than to follow the advice.
In one of the recent Instagram posts of the female radio host, she shared this cryptic post about “doormat”.
