Class and Work Suspensions in Tacloban City (January 12) Due to Inclement Weather Condition
WALANG PASOK – The local government unit of Tacloban City has declared class and work suspensions due to the inclement weather condition.
On Tuesday (January 12, 2021), the Facebook page “Tacloban City Government” announced the cancellation of classes and government works in the area. City Mayor Alfredo Romualdez made the announcement.
Mayor Alfredo Romualdez declared the class and work suspensions to ensure the safety of workers from any possible danger due to the bad weather condition. The cancelation of classes and government works have been first declared on Monday (January 11, 2021).
The tail-end of a frontal system brought an inclement weather condition over the Eastern Visayas including Tacloban City.

Meanwhile, a low-pressure area located at 170 kilometers southeast of General Santos City and the Tail-end of Frontal System would bring cloudy conditions scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao.
The northeast monsoon or amihan would bring cloudy conditions with light rains over CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
