Three Individuals Arrested For Shoplifting In Muntinlupa City
MUNTINLUPA CITY – Three individuals were recently arrested after they were caught shoplifting in the city of Muntinlupa on Wednesday.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the local police reported that a man and a woman were caught after stealing four bottles of body spray in a convenience store in Zapote Road, Barangay Ayala, Alabang,
The four sprays have an overall value of P300, police added. The store clerk there testified that the two suspects grabbed some items and left the store without paying.
The clerk, along with the manager, tailed the suspects and upon reaching the two, they asked the suspects for the receipt, which they don’t have, resulting in their arrest.
Based on the report, on the other hand, a merchandiser was arrested for stealing a pair of pants at a department store also in Barangay Ayala, Alabang.
The security guard caught him red-handed and arrested the suspect, who failed to show the receipt to the guard prior to his arrest.
The pair of pants that was retrieved from the suspect had a value of about P1,000.
