Is it true that Nadine Lustre and James Reid got back together again?

NADINE LUSTRE – After a year ago of announcing the split, allegations surface recently about Nadine Lustre and James Reid being together again.

A year ago, rumors about long-time celebrity couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid calling it quits surfaced online. It broke numerous hearts of their supporters and shortly after the rumors emerged, they sent an official statement to Tonight With Boy Abunda confirming this. A part of their statement read:

“It’s true that we have split up but not for all the reasons that are being spread on the tabloids and social media but because after quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can.”

The alleged reason behind which they dismissed then are “irreconcilable differences” and Nadine already left James’ house in Quezon City. The house of James which served as their love nest for many years was put on sale.

However, as per an article from PEP, the selling of the house situated in an exclusive subdivision in Quezon City withdrew and Nadine is now living again with him. People close to them confirmed that they got back together amid the pandemic.

Their rekindled romance does not necessarily mean of more projects from them for Nadine is currently facing legal battle versus Viva Artists Agency (VAA). She accordingly violated her contract but her legal counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan said that the contract is oppressive.

 Viva boss Vic Del Rosario stressed that she is not allowed to do movies with a different company. The actress, moreover, “contracted independently with advertisers, promoters, and other third parties, disregarding her exclusive contract with Viva”.

In a previous article, she admitted her fear of being “laos” or a “has been” for got no work during the pandemic. She felt stressed and pressured but takes comfort from the thought that she doesn’t have to rush.
