Manny Pacquiao Still Believes In Good Cops In PNP After Tarlac Incident

Boxing legend and Senator Manny Pacquiao still believing that there are still good cops in PNP.

MANNY PACQUIAO – Following the Tarlac incident, Manny Pacquiao made an appeal to people and calls to revive the death penalty.

Over the weekend, people were shocked to witness a shooting incident that ultimately ended the lives of mother and son, Sonya and Frank Gregorio. It all rooted in “boga” and past issues with Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca which prompted the latter to pull the trigger in close range at them.

Many people online and famous personalities lambasted such acts and cried justice for the slain Gregorios. Even Senator Panfilo Lacson said to Philippine National Police (PNP) to “show no mercy” in dealing with the case. What many people even condemned is the fact that he mercilessly shot the two unarmed victims in front of his young daughter.

But for Senator Manny Pacquiao, he still believes that there are still a lot of good cops in PNP. People must accordingly not judge and generalize them after what Nuezca has done.

“Naniniwala ako na mas marami pa ring matitinong pulis at itong si Nuezca ay isa lamang sa mangilan-ilang bulok sa kanilang organisasyon,” he said. He added that people must accordingly show trust and love to them to have their protection and loyalty in return.

In his statement, he also called to revive the death penalty to quickly and effectively give justice to victims of heinous crimes. The athlete and politician, since then, is a supporter and advocate of capital punishment to be implemented in the country again.
