DSWD Visits Family Gregorio Following Tarlac Incident
DSWD – The Department of Social Welfare and Development spoke on the minors who witnessed the viral incident in Paniqui, Tarlac.
The incident in Tarlac involving police corporal Jonel Nuezca and the Gregorio family sparked outrage on social media. A lot of people including many celebrities are calling for justice for the family of Sonya and Frank Gregorio.
Police corporal Jonel Nuezca went to the Gregorio family to check after hearing “boga“. A confrontation between the cop and the 25-year-old Frank Nuezca took place and Sonya intervened.
The confrontation further heated up and, unexpectedly, Nuezca took the lives of Sonya and Frank using his firearm. The cop’s daughter was also present during the incident.

Aside from Nuezca’s daughter, several other minors from the Gregorio family witnessed the incident. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) visited the wake of Sonya and Frank.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the DSWD gave financial assistance ro the Gregorio family. Also, a psychological counseling on the minors who witnessed the incident is conducted.
According to DSWD Undersecretary Aimee Neri, the minors who witnessed the said tragic incident in Tarlac may cause post-traumatic stress disorder. They’re ordered to psychologically heal the minors of both sides.
The daughter of Nuezca received backlash on social media. On the part of the Gregorio’s patriarch, he appealed to the public to stop bashing the daughter of the cop.
