Actor-politician Jinggoy Estrada gets asked about his plan in the 2022 elections and here is what he said.
Prior to his political career, Jinggoy entered the world of showbiz as one of the action stars during the 80s. His journey in politics started when he was elected as San Juan Mayor in 1992 when he was just 29 years old.
From that, he went on for higher position as he was elected Senator in 2004. Although Jinggoy faced with controversies in his political career, it is still undeniable that he is one of the most popular names in the political arena.
Unfortunately, the son of former President Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada did not won in the last national elections. Based on the article from Pang-Masa, Jinggoy Estrada was asked if he plans to run in the 2022 elections.
When the question was asked, the actor-politician just smiled. He believes that it is still early to speak about this matter. It is because there is still two years to wait before this happens.
For him, it is more important to focus on praying that this pandemic will already pass. He is also praying for the success of his movie that is one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
Jinggoy Estrada had the chance to work with award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez in the movie titled Coming Home.
Meanwhile, as early as now, there are already names of politicians who are being speculated to run in the 2022 elections, such as Senator Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
