KC Concepcion shared this about her grandmother
Actress KC Concepcion shared the memorable gift that she received from her grandmother Mamita Elaine.
KC is close to her grandparents and her recent Instagram post featured the mother of Sharon Cuneta. Previously, the actress wrote an emotional post for her grandmother as she remembered the latter’s death anniversary.
In her recent post, KC talked about a happy and memorable story with her Mamita. She said that during her toddlers years, she and her mom Sharon were living in her grandparents’ house.
“While Mom was at work, my Mita Elaine always loved to dress me up (even well throughout my 20s, until she passed 5 years ago),” she shared.
KC Concepcion recalled the day when she received this memorable gift from her Mamita Elaine. The actress said that one day when she was walking out the door in jeans and a shirt, her grandmother told her to change the big black purse that she was wearing.
“I knew I would be running late, but I paused, and waited- I would never want to disappoint my grandmother,” KC shared. After about 10 minutes and serious contemplation, her Mamita found the purse she was looking for.
KC’s grandmother gave her a vintage Chanel. Then, her Mamita said to her, “I won’t be able to wear that around anymore, from now on, that’s yours.”
“I hugged her, kissed her, ran outside in my sneakers and jeans and hand-me-down vintage Chanel. She taught me how to enjoy fashion,” the actress added.
KC Concepcion said that her grandmother played a big role when it comes to her fashion sense. She is also thinking about her Mamita every time that she is making pieces for her own line of jewelry.
