Emotional, KC Concepcion remembers her Mamita and expressed message in an Instagram post.
KC CONCEPCION – Singer and actress KC Concepcion became emotional as she expressed message for her late Mamita Elaine Cuneta.
At 79 years old, Megastar Sharon Cuneta‘s mother Mrs. Elaine Gamboa-Cuneta passed away. Accordingly, the cause of her death is internal bleeding and some complications that arise following her abdominal surgery. Before she went away, she was confined in a hospital after suffering from abdominal pain and was in an intensive care for several weeks until she bid goodbye in 2014.
She was fondly called Mommy Elaine by showbiz people. The Megastar is known to be a lot closer to her father and shared in previous interview that they might not get along well when she was alive but her greatest influence to her is on the way she raised her daughter KC Concepcion. She is her daughter with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion.
And now, six years after Mommy Elaine died. KC, who is known to be really close to her Mita, wrote an emotional message for her on Instagram as she remembered her. This is to commemorate her sixth death anniversary. Posting one of their last photos together, she reminisced about her Mita as her best friend, confidant, and her light.
In the photo was accordingly the day Mommy Elaine “waved goodbye” to her with a smiling face. She wrote, “This was the day you waved goodbye to me… With a smile on your face. I will always cherish that. I will always cherish you. I love you, Mita.”
When everyone thought that everything were handed to her in a silver platter being born in a very wealthy clan, KC proved them wrong for one learning she will always be grateful about from her mother and grandparents is to save up. Her Mita was always there for her when she was alive and every year, as she remembers her on the day she died, there would always be an obvious longing in her posts.
