The entertainment industry mourned the death of one of the well-loved singers. On Sunday, April Boy’s brother Vingo Regino confirmed the sad news.

The Facebook post did not include the cause of death. A later report stated that the Di Ko Kayang Tanggapin singer died due to Acute Respiratory Disease- Kidney Disease Stage 5. Madel Regino, the wife of the late singer shared this information.

However, an issue surfaced when it comes to the real age of April Boy Regina. Initial reports stated that he died at the age of 51. Later on, this was clarified by his immigration lawyer, as well as his wife. It was said that the OPM singer died at the age of 59.

At that age, April Boy already suffered from various health conditions. Because of this, he was not as active as before when it comes to his music career. However, his song are still being remembered.

Chiz Escudero is one of those people who expressed that the music of April Boy Regino will not be forgotten. In a recent post on Twittet, the Sorsogon Governor expressed condolences to the family of the late OPM singer.

“My condolences to the family and loved ones of April Boy Regino… your music will forever be a part of our lives!” the politician wrote. He included a YouTube link showing the performance of the late singer.
