April Boy Regino Death – The cause of death of the OPM singer was revealed as well as his real age when he died.
On Sunday, the online lamented after Vingo Regino, the brother of April Boy has this post on Facebook: “Nakakalungkot naman ang araw na ito… wala na ang kuya April Boy ko.”
Several netizens were saddened by the passing away of the popular singer and many also expressed condolences to his family. Initial reports stated that the late singer died at the age of 51. However, based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, April Boy Regino death fell on the year that he is already 59 years old.
Atty. Jemela Nettles, a U.S. immigration lawyer who helped the OPM singer to get his extraordinary ability visa confirmed this. “Isinilang si April Boy noong April 9, 1961,” the confirmation stated. It has been a dream of the April Boy to live in the U.S. with his family. Fortunately, he was able to fulfill this.
Aside from this, the family of April Boy also had documents that the aforementioned date is the exact date of birth of the late singer.
Meanwhile, although the OPM singer went through a lot when it comes to his health condition, based on the report, the cause of death of April Boy Regino is Acute Respiratory Disease- Kidney Disease Stage 5. This was confirmed by his wife Madel to entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin.
Initially, his brother Vingo did not reveal this detail about the death of the singer who was popularly known for his song Di Ko Kayang Tanggapan.
