Boy Abunda interviews John Lloyd Cruz and here’s how their talk went.
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – After many years, John Lloyd Cruz grants an interview with Boy Abunda and netizens have these reactions seeing him again.
The King of Talk, Boy Abunda, finally interviewed John Lloyd Cruz again for the public through digital after over three years of actor shying away from things related to show business industry. He escaped the limelight and lived a simple life. He also had a son with Ellen Adarna who is now two years old.
In the interview, they talked about the film “Servando Magdamag“, an independent film where he will play Servando Sais. And talking about his hiatus, he might have stopped for a while but it didn’t necessarily mean that he will stop doing his passion and making his craft.
“Huminto man ako ng matagal pero hindi rin naman ako tumitigil ng paggawa kahit panaka-naka. Binibigyan rin naman ako ng magagawa ng mga kaibigan ko,” he said. Those times for him were enriching and it his choice to do it, to rest for a while. He added, “Kailangang huminto at magnilay-nilay. Parang kailangan ng medyo dumistansya. Di ba para balikan mo ulit kailangan mo munang ubusin.”
When asked if he got tired, he just realized that life is short and he just did what he think is what he wanted. He doesn’t want to grow old with a lot of “what ifs” in his mind asking why he didn’t dare do what his heart and mind tell him to.
