ELLEN ADARNA – Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna to be in television again after many years of hiatus in this TV5 show entitled “John En Ellen”.
Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna, as much as we are all aware of, has been in hiatus from show business industry for over three years now. This is after she ran away from the limelight with A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz and eventually gave birth to their son Elias Modesto.
In a previous report, with all the questions about her as to when she will returning to work, she said that she wanted to put all her focus to her son. She can put her career on hold to be a mother and to be there for him, most especially during his the first seven years of his life or his formative years.
And now, over three years later of silence and being in hiatus, she finally ends her rest from show business and she will appear in a new show in TV5 entitled “John En Ellen”. This is one of the newest sitcoms that the network will air.
The “John” she’s going to work with is the actor John Estrada. Accordingly, it was the actor who talked and convinced Ellen to do the work since she has said in an interview that she’s not going to work in the next seven years. The concept of the new show is inspired by Dolphy-Nida Blanca classic sitcom called John En Marsha.
According to PEP, the lock-in taping will start in January 5, 2021, while it will air in January 17. Other casts include, Ronaldo Valdez, Laboching, Long Mejia, at Angelina Cruz, ang anak nina Sunshine Cruz, and Cesar Montano. This will be directed by Willy Cuevas.
