Claudine Barretto versus Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta. Maria?
Will Jodi Sta. Maria get involved in the case that Claudine Barretto filed against Raymart Santiago?
Last June, it was reported that Claudine was planning to file a case against her ex-husband. Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the lawyer of the Optimum Star revealed this. “I don’t think they’re exactly friends. In fact, we’ll be suing Raymart. Economic Abuse under VAWC Act,” the lawyer said back then.
Just recently, news surfaced that the said plan was put into action. Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, Atty. Topacio said that the case was already filed in October.
He said that the hearing initiated in November. The lawyer also said that his client stated that Raymart is not giving monetary support and if he will give, it is just amounting to P14,000 a month. According to Claudine Barretto, this is not enough.
Reportedly, this is a possibility that Jodi Sta. Maria will get involved. “Pinag-aaralan pa lang,” Atty. Topacio said when asked about this. However, the lawyer stressed that it is not the idea of Claudine Barretto to involve the current girlfriend of Raymart Santiago.
On the other hand, the lawyer shared that Jodi has talked to Claudine regarding Raymart. Early October, the relationship between Jodi and Raymart was revealed to the public due to their photos together that surfaced on social media.
It was speculated that Claudine Barretto was just “dedma” about this as she had not given any reaction to this. The actor was previously in a relationship with Ayala Executive AC Legarda. Meanwhile, Jodi’s last relationship before Raymart was with Jolo Revilla.
