Last week, Typhoon Ulysses strikes different parts of the country and lashed Luzon with strong winds and heavy rains. The powerful cyclone destroyed numerous houses and properties as well as taking lives of some Filipino people.

The inclement weather condition also triggers severe flooding in Metro Manila and its nearby areas particularly in Marikina City, Cagayan, and Isabela. The severe flooding left with small or nothing to start with.

Class Suspensions

Several local government units have declared the suspension of classes and government works in some areas due to the impact of Typhoon Ulysses. The government wants to give time to students, school employees, and their families to recover.
