DOLE Online System Designed for Financial Assistance Application

DOLE – The Department of Labor and Employment launched an online system for COVID-19 financial assistance program application.

A lot of people are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, almost everyone is suffering from its effects on the daily routine, the financial aspect, and, most of all, the health safety.

For several months, many companies incurred only expenses with no income. This resulted to many firms closing and announcing bankruptcy. A lot of individuals also lost their jobs amid the crisis.

To help the workers in the formal sector who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) launched a financial assistance program.

The said program is the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program or CAMP. It is a one-time financial support for those workers who are affected.

Recently, DOLE launched an online system for the application for the said COVID-19 financial assistance program. You may also track your application through the said system.

The Philippines is still on a fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Community quarantine measures are still up in the entire country and the whole of Metro Manila will remain under GCQ until December 2020.

The Palace previously expressed that a more lenient community quarantine measure may be implemented in the entire country next year. There are speculations that face-to-face classes may return in schools but it has to be studied and the decision will come from the President.
