Neri Naig Says Her Mom Taught Her How To Peddle Food, Goods When She Was Young
NERI NAIG – Celebrity entrepreneur Neri Naig revealed her mom taught her how to peddle food and goods when she was young.
Star Circle Quest alum Neri Nagi is now an entrepreneur and wife of Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda. The story of the celebrity couple makes a lot of people happy and inspired by how they hustled and make their businesses work.
The former actress has several businesses under her name. Her ventures include import and resale of beddings, café, bakeshop, bed-and-breakfast in Cavite, online ukayan, and tuyo business.
Recently, Chito Miranda proudly shared his wife’s achievements. He said Neri was able to buy a 6000 sqm. lot in a village that he wants.
In her Instagram post last October 27, the 34-year-old businesswoman proudly revealed where she learned her entrepreneurial skills. She said when she was young, she used to ask their neighbors for food leftovers for their pigs and sell goods in the streets.

Neri Nagi shared how her tuyo business opened a lot of opportunities. She said thinking about their dream house keeps her awake and excited.
“Hindi na naman ako makatulog. Nangangarap tungkol sa aming dream house. Ang dami kong gustong ikwento pero alam ko tulog na kayong lahat, hehe!
“Kahit ilang tuyo pa ang kailangan kong ibenta sa buong buhay ko para sa mag-ama ko, di ko pagpapalit yun. Dyan ako nakilala bilang manunuyo, hehe! At dahil sa tuyo, nagbukas eto sa maraming oportunidad sa pagnenegosyo.
“Marami na ang gustong makipagpartnership sa akin. Halos puro babae! Mga Founder at CEO ng mga sarili nilang kumpanya. Naniniwala sila na ako ang kanilang perfect tindera! Haha!,” she added.
Neri Naig said her mom taught her how to peddle food and goods in the streets. She thanked her for teaching her how to be practical at a very young age.
“Buti na lang at sa murang edad ay naturuan na ako ng nanay ko kung paano maglako at magbenta ng mga paninda! Sa nanay ko natutunan yun! And yes, naglalako po ako ng mga ulam. At naranasan ko rin pong kumuha ng literal na kaning baboy sa mga kapitbahay. Iniisa isa ko po yun at nilalagay sa timba. Ayan ang naging training ko at never kong kinahiya. Hindi man ako palaging nakakapaglaro sa daanan, pero palagi mo naman akong makikita na may bitbit na paninda o timba na puno ng kaning baboy.”
