MICHELE GUMABAO – The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 contestant broke her silence after finishing 2nd Runner up in the pageant.
Miss Universe is one of the most-awaited international pageants every year. It usually takes place in December and gathers beautiful, talented, and intelligent women with character in one big event.
These women are representing their countries in the international arena. A lot of people really stay at their homes or spare some time to watch the said prestigious event.
Before the international pageant, countries are conducting national pageants to determine who will represent them in the international feat. Philippines recently picked among the very beautiful ladies.
Rabiya Mateo from Iloilo was crowned as the Miss Universe Philippines 2020. The coronation took place at West Visayas State University Cultural Center.
One of the most popular contestants of the event was Michele Gumabao, the sister of actor Marco Gumabao. She finished as 2nd-runner in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant.
Undeniably, a lot of issues and controversies following the national pageant. There were even questions on Michele not attending the competition’s press conference.
Recently, Michele Gumabao broke her silence following her stint in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Based on a post of Kapamilya Online World, she began by thanking her supporters – the Michelin stars.
The sister of Marco thanked her supporters for being with her until the end of her Miss Universe Philippines 2020 journey. According to her, she left BCC while the pageant was ongoing and she was already aware on who won the competition.
According to her, she tried to go to their viewing party but many people were asking her what happened and she can’t stand the questions. Here’s a part of the statement of Michele based on the post:
“I can handle defeat hahahaha I can’t handle the people asking me why why why… I’m sharing this with you because you deserve to know my side, we don’t need to defend to anyone. I did my very best and I have no regrets,” she said.
