Miss Universe Philippines: Michele Gumabao Shares Biggest Sacrifice

Michele Gumabao’s sacrifice for Miss Universe Philippines 2020.

MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES – Candidate Michele Gumabao shared the sacrifice she made upon joining this year’s Miss Universe Philippines.

27-year-old volleyball player and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2018 Michele Gumabao is one of the 52 official candidates for this year’s Miss Universe Philippines. And her target this year is to win the national pageant and eventually win Miss Universe. This might not be her first time to join a beauty pageant, still it makes her nervous yet excited at the same time.

Joining, on the other hand, has made her sacrifice a lot of things and the biggest she has done is volleyball. She is playing for Creamline Cool Smashers of Premiere Volleyball League. Gumabao shared that she still supports her team and remained a part of them.

She added based on report from PEP, “I think I’m at a point in my life that I’m ready to transition and open new doors of opportunities for me, but I will never forget where I came from.”

Despite the fact that she’s already a titleholder, her reason to join again is God’s will for her as the signs she waited, asked, and prayed for all happened and everything is just falling into place. Also, the support, encouragement, and faith to her from people surrounding her fueled her to push through another luck in the field of pageantry.

And the pressure now to her is not anymore. It was just the same pressure she felt every time being a professional athlete. Aside from other segments, what she working hard for above anything else is the Question and Answer portion. She is a public and motivational speaker but making an impact within the 30 seconds given to them, usually, to answer is a big challenge.
