Five Drug Pushers Arrested In Quezon Province Amid Quinta Rainfall
QUEZON PROVINCE – Five suspected drug pushers were recently arrested in Quezon province after selling shabu amid Quinta rainfall.
Quezon police chief Colonel Audie Madrideo reported that anti-narcotics operatives arrested the three, identified as Charles de Chavez, aged 52, Noel Clanor, aged 43, and Diosdado Perez Tejada, aged 24, according to Inquirer.
The three were arrested after they sold drugs to poseur-buyers in three separate buy-bust incidents in Candelaria town on Sunday and early Monday.
Retrieved from the suspects were 10 sachets of drugs.
Based on the report, two suspects were also arrested in separate operations in the municipality of Lucban on Sunday night and afternoon. Retrieved from the suspects were six sachets of drugs.
The five suspects were currently detained at the municipal police detention centers, and are currently facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, also known as Republic Act No. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972.
Earlier this month, three drug suspects were arrested in the cities of Parañaque and Taguig.

Retrieved from the two suspects in Parañaque were illegal drugs worth at about P81.6 million while illegal drugs worth at about P122.4 million were retrieved from one in Taguig.
