ARMY Slams Jason Derulo For Not Giving K-pop Boy Band BTS Credit For ‘Savage Love’ Success
JASON DERULO – ARMY slammed Jason Derulo for not giving K-South Korea’s popular boy band BTS credit for ‘Savage Love’ success.
American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo started his solo recording career in 2009. He has sold over 30 million singles and has attained 11 Platinum singles including “Whatcha Say,” “In My Head,” and “Talk Dirty.”
In 2020, he released his single “Savage Love” with producer Jawsh 685. The song went viral on the video-sharing platform TikTok and was remixed by the South Korean boy band BTS.
The remix of “Savage Love” reached number one in the United States and it becomes Jason Derulo’s 2nd chart-topper. The K-pop group definitely added charm to his song.
BTS’ fans or ARMY slammed the Derulo for not giving the boy band credit for his song’s success. Based on a report from Meaw.com, the 31-year-old singer did not acknowledge the band when he went live on TikTok during the success party of “Savage Love.”
In the caption of his live session, he wrote: “It’s a celebration @#savagelove @hannastocking @ondreazlopez @charlyjordan @itstaylerholder @justmaiko @sommeray @jena @mrmovi3.”

Jason Derulo did not mention BTS anywhere so the fans were annoyed. Most of them took to Twitter to lash out at the American singer.
