Mayor Isko Thanks BTS PH Army for Donating Supplies for Elephant in Manila Zoo

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno thanked the BTS PH army, K-pop fan based in the Philippines for donating supplies to an elephant in Manila zoo.

In Twitter, the Mayor of Manila, Francisco ‘Isko’ Moreno acknowledged the deed and thanked the ARMYs and even included a purple heart for their compassion. The Manila Public Information Office’s Facebook account also extended their gratitude for the fan base’s help and support.

“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa Golden Alliance PH, ang Pinoy fanbase ng K-Pop idol na si Jeon Jung Kook ng BTS dahil sa pag-dodonate nila ng mga pagkain at kagamitan para kay Maali, ang ating elephant sa Manila Zoo na inaalagaan din ng mga kawani natin mula sa Public Recreation Bureau,” Mayor Isko said on his Tweet.

Filipino fan base Golden Alliance PH donate food and bathing supplied to the 47-year-old elephant in Manila Zoo named Maali, which is under the care of the Public Recreation Bureau.

This, as part of their celebration of the BTS’ golden maknae, Jeon Jungkook, 23rd birthday on September 1, 2020.  Fans will go out of their way to show their love through charity work.

Maali is one of the Golden Alliance PH’s project and many efforts. According to the article of Cosmopolitan, they have composed Filipinos ARMYs around the world, and in the Philippines, they had two donation projects.
