Recently, the Department of Tourism (DoT) and the viral video-sharing platform, TikTok, collaborated to help boost the tourism of the Philippines even further.

During the collab event at the Manila Hotel, one of the heads officials of TikTok met with the DOT assistant secretary to sign a memorandum of agreement to officially tie the partnership.

Those who were present were Tiktok Head of Public Policy for the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Donny Eryastha and DOT Assistant Secretary for Branding and Marketing communications, Lance Uyking.

Eryastha said that showcasing the beauty and wonders of the Philippines through influential creators, TikTok “embraces cultural and geographical diversity as it transcends boundaries”.
