Here’s what Bea Alonzo shared about her showbiz career
Actress Bea Alonzo admitted that she was insecure when she was just a newbie in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Bea is now recognized as one of the most-sought after leading ladies. She was able to establish her stardom over the years and people have been admiring her performances on TV and on the big screen.
However, just like other celebrities, who started from humble beginnings in show business, Bea said that she also felt insecure. In her recent vlog in which she answered various questions from her fans, she was asked to give advice to women who do not feel confident.
Bea Alonzo admitted that during her teenage years, she lacked confidence also. That was the time when she was starting her showbiz career.
“At that time, kasabayan ko sina Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, Angelica Panganiban at ang sobrang ha-hot nila, really good actors,” she shared. In a previous interview, she called the said actresses as queens but she doe not want to be called like that.
In order for her to overcome her insecurity as a showbiz newbie, Bea said that she just focused on the things that made her feel alive and not insecure and that was acting.
“I felt empowering when I was acting,” she added. She also stressed that one should have self-love. “If people see you na minamahal mo ang sarili mo, people will actually respect you,” she shared.
Apparently, she has been doing a good job in embracing her flaws and this also inspires others to do so.
Meanwhile, the teaser that Bea posted for her new vlog received a comment from a man. The netizen asked if she is back with Gerald Anderson, her ex-boyfriend. The actress denied this.
