Romnick Sarmenta Reveals He’s Expecting Baby W/ Girlfriend Barbara Ruaro
ROMNICK SARMENTA – Veteran actor Romnick Sarmenta revealed he s expecting a baby with his partner Barbara Ruari.
It was in June 2020 when rumors about Romnick Sarmenta and Barbara Ruaro’s relationship made headlines. During that time, the veteran actor confirmed his newfound love but decided not to name her.
He even wrote an open letter asking people to respect the privacy of their relationship. The two later confirmed their relationship.
Based on a report from PEP, Barbara Ruaro disclosed that she met Romnick Sarmenta on the set of the rom-com tv series “Past, Present, Perfect?” starred by Shaina Magdayao and Loisa Andalio.
The actress said she and Sarmenta took their time to get to know each other before they make their relationship official. She said, “Hindi kami nagmadali. We took our time in the getting-to-know phase. It was organic and free from any selfish agenda. It took a while for that friendship to evolve into something romantic. It had its own challenges.”

On Sunday, October 11, Romnick Sarmenta and Barbara Ruaro took to social media to announce that they are expecting their first child. The indie actress is now on her 5th month of pregnancy and expected to give birth in Feb 2021
The 48-year-old actor shared a photo of the pregnancy kit that shows a positive result. It came with a caption, “I B A Infinitely Blessed with Your Affirmation Iba Ka Panginoon, maraming salamat Po.”
Barbara Ruaro shared more details about her pregnancy on her IG account. She expressed how excited she is for her baby.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Thank You, dear God, for the gift of life! The cross that appeared on my test and this miracle as a whole is Your loudest yet most comforting affirmation. I praise and thank You for my Nicko, as well as all our friends and families who have expressed and continue to show their love and undying support. See you on February, Little Bean.”
It’s been a couple of years since actor Romnick Sarmenta and Harlene Bautista revealed their failed marriage and decision to separate. They have five kids. Their annulment was already filed in court.
