Jasmine Curtis as a frontliners in new Kapuso mini-series

Actress Jasmine Curtis will be exposing the discrimination that frontliners are experiencing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jasmine has a new Kapuso mini-series with Pambansang Bae Alden Richards. This project is titled I Can See You: Love On The Balcony. Based on the article from Bandera, this mini-series is not just about the love story between the characters of Jasmine and Alden.

This will also tackle the difficulties and sacrifices that the frontliners are doing in order to perform their duties. Jasmine is playing the role of Lea Carbonel who is a nurse. Alden is Gio in the series who is a wedding videographer.

Their paths crossed and a romance bloomed but more than the love story, this will show the reality of the present situation. “What makes Lea, my character, interesting I think for the audience is the insight sa pamumuhay ng frontliners ngayon,” Jasmine Curtis shared.

She added that the audience will see the discrimination that many frontliners are encountering amid the pandemic. “Kung paano nila tinatanggap ‘yung, I guess, pambabatikos dahil may discrimination din because they are exposed to the setting of the hospital,” the actress said.

The Love On The Balcony is part of the Kapuso drama anthology I Can See You. Also included in the cast in this mini series are Pancho Magno, Denise Barbacena, and Shyr Valdez.

Meanwhile, Jasmine previously received intriguing comments on her Instagram photo. Netizens speculated that she was pregnant with boyfriend Jeff Ortega due to her beach photo. However, she immediately clarified that the speculations are not true.
