Actress Julia Barretto allegedly left Cara Y Cruz, her supposed new Kapamilya series unannounced, and here is her reaction to this.

Rumors about Julia’s transfer to Viva Artists Agency surfaced a few days ago. Along with that speculations, it was said she just suddenly stopped doing the series that was first announced in June.

On September 30, the actress finally confirmed that she already left Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN, and transferred to VAA. During an interview with Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe as the newly-launched artist of Viva, Julia was asked questions regarding her transfer.

She said that she consulted Mr. M or Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto, the heads of Star Magic, regarding her decision. Julia Barretto said that they gave her their blessings to transfer. The actress added that the major factor of her transfer was the retirement of Alberto.

She also addressed the allegation that she left Cara Y Cruz without talking to the production team. Julia said that it is not true that she just suddenly left the series. “I was present in all our script readings, our general assembly. I was present for out look test, I was present for out one on one meeting with the director,” she said.

The actress also pointed out that they have already discussed regarding what to do when it comes to their characters. She added that she was ready and packed her things for the taping.
