GERALD ANDERSON – Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson expressed message to his character Private First Class Alex Marasigan in “A Soldier’s Heart”.

However, the network faced struggle about their franchise renewal bid which was not granted. Despite the tough time and the pandemic, they continued to shoot their episodes and now, it has come to an end. Gerald plays the lead role Private First Class Alex Marasigan.

And in an Instagram post, he bid goodbye and expressed his gratitude to his character and for having the chance to put him to life. In his post, the actor wrote:

“Maraming salamat for always being there for me.. Thank you for protecting me buddy.. It was an honor bringing life to you 🙏🏻 Paalam buddy.. This was one for the books.. ALEX/HAKEEM signing off……. Sacrifices are made for the better good.”

The show has faced certain controversies such as their depiction to Butuan City. Accordingly, it perceived “unrealistic” and “offensive” depiction of the place. Meanwhile, the actor is surely one of the best in the Philippines despite his issues.
