Action star Robin Padilla expressed no objection over Pemberton’s absolute pardon.
ROBIN PADILLA – Veteran actor Robin Padilla agrees to the absolute pardon given to Pemberton and DJ Mo Twister has lambasted him online due to this.
US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton, the convicted suspect behind the death of transgender woman Jennifer Laude was given absolute pardon by President Duterte. He only served five years and eight months inside the prison and due to good conduct, he had his early release.
Pemberton’s lawyer, on the other hand, expressed that they were shock over the decision of the president and they were clueless about it. He said, “I didn’t know that any was forthcoming or that anybody filed an application for pardon in his behalf.”
This angered a lot of people. But it seems like everything’s just fine about this matter to Robin Padilla. To recall, he was one of those who fought to give justice to Laude’s death. And agreeing to the pardon given to the convicted US marine seems like didn’t suit well to a lot of people including DJ Mo Twister.
In a Twitter post, DJ Mo indicated sarcastically how he loved the regression of the action star from a bad boy to a dumb one. Padilla, as much as we are all aware of, is a supporter of the current administration.

The veteran actor also expressed in his post, “Tama ang ginawa ni mayor PRRD. It was the most compassionate decision not only for the americans but for us as well. One way or the other we will soon need them and this pardon strengthens that bond of friendship between us as people.”
