Cadets in PNP Academy Tested Positive for COVID-19
PNP ACADEMY – The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) is on lockdown after several cadets were infected by COVID-19.
The Philippines is one of the countries hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Until now, community quarantine measures are up in the country as the coronavirus cases continue to increase.
The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded a total of 265,888 cases of coronavirus as of this writing. It includes 4,630 deaths and 207,504 recoveries.
Currently, most parts of the country are under a Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) while cities with high cases of COVID-19 are under a GCQ.

Recently, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) released an update about their cadets amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the PNP Academy will be on lockdown after cadets and staff tested positive for the disease.
PNPA Public Information Office Chief Lt. Col. Bryon Allatog expressed that 232 cadets and 11 personnel tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Most of them are showing no symptoms based on the report.
The PNPA Academy will be on lockdown until Sept. 18. Allatog assured the parents that the cadets will be taken care of. They are staying in the isolation facilities inside the academy.
