Joseph Gordon-Levitt Showcases Beauty of PH in Short Film

JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT – HitRECord founder and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt shared the result of his collab with Pinoy artists.

American actor, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and singer Joseph Gordon-Levitt is known for his films 500 Days of Summer, Inception, Don Jon, Knives Out, and 7500. He is the founder of the online collaborative media platform, HITRECORD.

The company of the 39-year-old Hollywood actor uses a variety of media to produce books, DVDs, and short films. Last month, he invited Filipino writers to help him in his project.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt also asked Pinoy netizens to send photos taken in the Philippines and write about it. The Department of Tourism shared his posts on its Facebook Page.

After putting out a call for Pinoy writers to help him in his project, he proudly shared the outcome of his latest endeavor on his FB page last September 11.

“Really pleased to share “The Beauty of the Philippines,” the short film that so many of you created!”

“Like everything we do on hitRECord, this piece is a true collaboration. Artists from the Philippines contributed thousands of photos and videos to bring other artists’ writing and voice acting to life.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt thanked everyone who contributed to his project. He wrote “Wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who contributed. Your enthusiasm for this project really moved me. So did your talent and creativity. The finished piece is such a sweet celebration of a beautiful place and culture. Bravo to everyone who contributed! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Looking forward to seeing what we’ll create together next.”
