Ben& Ben Gives K-pop Group BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ Jazzy Twist
BTS – Pinoy band Ben&Ben gave K-pop sensation BTS’ latest hit ‘Dynamite‘ a jazzy twist in their BBTV vlog.
9-piece folk-pop band from Manila Philippines, Ben&Ben, consists of brothers Miguel and Paolo Guico, Toni Muñoz, Poch Barretto, Patricia Lasatem Jam Villanueva, Agnes Reoma, Keifer Cabugao, and Andrew de Pano are known for their hits such as “Ride Home,” “Lifetime,” “Kathang Isip,” and “Pagtingin.”
They have created chart-topping hits and sold-out shows. Last month, they launched their vlog series called “BBTV.”
To celebrate its milestone, Ben&Ben made covers of various Korean songs. They have gained fame in South Korea after various Korean stars started listening to their songs.
“Gagawin natin siya kasi ‘yung mga K-pop fans nire-request ‘yung mga music ng Ben&Ben sa mga idol groups nila. At pinlay ng mga idols nila sa livestream. Bilang pasasalamat we wanted to try our hands on K-pop songs,” Paolo Guico said.
On Wednesday, Ben&Ben released a new collection of K-pop covers on their Youtube Channel. They performed the songs by famous groups EXO, IU, and BTS.
The Pinoy band performed “Home” by Seventeen, “Baby Don’t Cry” by EXO, “Not by the Moon” by GOT7, “Eight” by IU, and “Reveal” by The Boyz. They closed their latest vlog with BTS’ latest hit “Dynamite.”

Recently, BTS’ “Dynamite” has landed on the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 100 songs chart. The famous group performed their new English-language sing at the 2020 MTV VMAs. In a report, award-winning international actress and singer Lea Salonga said she has fallen into the group’s rabbit hole.
