Ben&Ben Covers K-pop Songs For Their First Vlog
BEN&BEN – Indie-folk band Ben&Ben made a cover of their favorite K-pop songs for the first episode of their newest vlog series ‘BBTV.’
Songs performed by Korean artists managed to break into billboard charts and music industries around the world. K-pop songs also make it to the Philippines’ weekly charts.
The all-girl group, BLACKPINK, joined the top charts more often. BTS songs were also played a million times on Spotify. The Philippines is number five on the list of countries that Tweet the most about K-pop.
Recently, the indie/folk-pop band in the Philippines, Ben & Ben, decided to make covers of various K-pop songs. They released the video on their YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 5.
Last month, they gained fame in Korea’s music industry after various K-pop idols started to listen to their song. Their Filipino fans have been suggesting their songs to their idols.

The famous Pinoy band made a cover of their favorite Korean songs in the 1st episode of their vlog ‘BBTV.’ Vocalist Paolo Guico said they made the covers as a sign of gratitude to the K-pop fans for supporting their music and to thank the Korean stars who liked their music.
“Gagawin natin siya kasi ‘yung mga K-pop fans nire-request ‘yung mga music ng Ben&Ben sa mga idol groups nila. At pinlay ng mga idols nila sa livestream. Bilang pasasalamat we wanted to try our hands on K-pop songs,” he said.
Ben & Ben made a short song cover of “Beautiful Time” by NCT Dream, “You Were Beautiful” by Day6, “Bad Boy” by Red Velvet, and “Feel Special” by Twice.
