Julia Montes’ Reaction to Melissa Ricks-Michael Macatangay Engagement
JULIA MONTES – Kapamilya actress Julia Montes reacted to the engagement of her friend Melissa Ricks and Michael Macatangay.
Filipino-American actress Melissa Ricks and Julia Montes last worked together in the tv series “Walang Hanggan” in 2012 which also starred Dawn Zulueta and Coco Martin. Last January, she shared her comeback project “24/7” with Julia.
Melissa has not appeared in any showbiz projects since she gave birth to her daughter Kiera. She shares her journey as a single parent on her Youtube channel and social media.

Melissa Ricks’ friends Gretchen Fullido and Empress Schuck announced on social media that the 30-year-old actress is getting married. They said Melissa’s non-showbiz boyfriend Michael Macatangay got down in one knee in an intimate gathering in Batangas on Aug. 29.
Gretchen and Empress documented the romantic proposal on their respective Instagram account. The surprise engagement was witnessed by their friends and family.

Melissa Rick’s friend Julia Montes took to Instagram to pen about the romantic marriage proposal. She expressed her happiness for her friend. She wrote, “Really God is the real writer and director of our story … from prayers noon at talks, visiting talks para lang maassure tayo sa mga situation pero grabe ngaun eto na … @mellyricks09 and kuya Michael.”
In a previous article, Melissa Ricks was asked about the rumored baby of Julia Montes and Coco Martin. She said, “Hindi ako nangingialam sa mga ganyang issue… kung totoo man o hindi, what is that to us di ba?”
Melissa is the daughter of the president and director of S&R Philippines Kelly Ricks. She is known best for her roles in the tv series ‘Walang Hanggan,’ ‘Iisa Pa Lamang,’ and ‘Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko.’
