Actress Melissa Ricks was asked about the rumored baby of Kapamilya stars Julia Montes and Coco Martin.
The rumors about the relationship of Julia and Coco circulated years ago when they did a teleserye together but they haven’t confirmed it. However, there were rumors about them that circulated last year stating that they were having their first baby.
Julia’s absence as she took a break added fuel to the fire of rumors. However, until she had her showbiz comeback earlier this yeaar, she is still silent about this issue. As Melissa Ricks is now part of Julia Montes’s new series 24/7, the returning actress was asked about the rumore baby.
Melissa shared that she accepted the offer to return to showbiz because she will be working with her friend Julia, based on the article from PEP. “Siyempre, sobrang okay. Sobrang love ko si Julia,” she said.
She added that she was not planning to return to entertainment industry as she is already enjoying her private life with her family. However, when the offer came, she immediately grabbed it. Her last teleserye in the Kapamilya network was Honesto back in 2013.
Melissa Ricks also shared that off-cam, she and Julia Montes are talking about their personal lives. With this, she was asked if there were instances that the talked about the rumored baby of Julia and Coco.
“Hindi ako nangingialam sa mga ganyang issue,” the Star Circle Quest alumna said. She added, “Kung totoo man o hindi, what is that to us, di ba?”
Meanwhile, Melissa shared that the long hiatus of Julia from showbiz was really intended for her to take a rest because she deserves that and the opportunity to spend time with her father.
