BUWAN NG WIKA – Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the government made it mandatory for the public to wear a face shield. However, that doesn’t mean that it can’t be stylish!

As the Philippines celebrates “Buwan Ng Wika“, a couple of teachers decided to decorate their face shields. Even with the pandemic, you could still feel the love for our cultural heritage with these beautiful works of art.

According to a report from Inquirer, the teachers were from Saint Louis School in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. These face shields were “wika” inspired and was made to educate students about its proper use amid the coronavirus pandemic.

With the lockdowns in place, students and teachers couldn’t celebrate “Buwan Ng Wika” like they normally would. Still, that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative with the materials you have. Furthermore, this would also be a great way to promote proper health practices to help curve the spread of COVID-19.
