Grandpa Builds Study Area On Top Of Tree So Granddaughter Gets Signal
GRANDPA BUILDS STUDY AREA – Due to the coronavirus pandemic, students had a major shift in the way they would take classes.
Blended online learning classes have become standard as the number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines continued to rise. However, not everybody has equal access to the resources required to attend such classes.
One of the major problems students had was a lack of signal, especially students living in remote or rural areas. As such, a 72-year-old grandpa named Florentino Bernadas built his granddaughter a study area on top of a tree just for her to get a signal.
His Granddaughter, Jennelyn Mae is striving hard to follow her dreams of becoming a member of the police force. So, to support her dreams, he made the effort of making a study area on top of a tree so she could join her online classes.
