Controversial Photos of New Denomination Philippine Money Elicits Comments Online

The photos of alleged new denomination Philippine money are now circulating on social media and elicit comments from the netizens.

Recently, a Facebook user named Yvette Jaug has shared the photos of alleged new Philippine money including P20 coin as well as new P500 and P1000 bill. The post spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the social media users.

In the photos, it can be seen that the P20 bill has been already converted into a coin. While P500 and P1,000 bills have new faces. The new paper bills have a few and slight changes compared to the old ones but they were still recognizable.

Another netizen named Allaine Francisco narrated that a seller refused to accept her the new denominations thinking that those bills are fake. Allaine insisted and informed the public that those bills are legit.

Several netizens also supported Francisco’s statement and claimed that the new bills are legit and already circulating in the country.
