Diamond Star Maricel Soriano had a minor accident during a taping for her new series Ang Iyo Ay Akin with Jodi Sta Maria, Iza Calzado, and Sam Milby.

It is no doubt that Maricel is one of the biggest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry. At a young age, she has proven her acting prowess until she earned the name “Diamond Star”.

She is one of the main cast members of the new Kapamilya drama series that will be shown on digital platforms. With her dedication to her work, she does not mind getting a minor accident.

Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, in a scene where Maricel had to run after her daughter, the character played by Jodi, while the latter was taken to a police car.

While running, the Diamond Star stumbled but instead of stopping, she continued to to run after the police car which shocked the people who were there during the taping.

“Hinahabol ko siya, nadapa ngayon ako. Tapos tumayo ulit para habulin. Hindi pwedeng idobol ‘yon, master shots, tapos 3 camera kami. Lahat ng shot nandoon na,” she shared.

Based on the article, the co-stars of Maricel Soriano got worried because of what happened. This dedication of the Diamond Star was commended by the director of the series FM Reyes.

In a previous report, the said director also expressed admiration for what Jodi Sta Maria showed as an actress for her complicated role. The actress was able to carry out various emotions needed by her character.
