Sam Milby Admits To Being Intimidated By Maricel Soriano
SAM MILBY – Kapamilya actor Sam Milby shared his experience working with ‘Diamond Star‘ Maricel Soriano.
Fil-Am actor and musician Sam Milby is one of the hunks in the showbiz industry. He is currently dating Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
He was paired with different leading ladies like Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, and Toni Gonzaga. He is no doubt one of the actors who develop good chemistry with every actress he gets paired with.
Sam Milby is the male lead in the new Kapamilya series “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.” Based on a report from PUSH, the actor shared his experience working with Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. He said he feels blessed to have gotten the chance to work with the country’s prominent actresses.
“I have to admit, nakaka-pressure. I feel very unworthy. Lahat sila sobrang galling. I was so nervous going into this project. At siyempre ang nag-iisang Diamond Star na si Ms. Maricel Soriano, I was very nervous. Pero lahat sila sobrang supportive,” he said.

According to the report, Sam Milby plays the role of Gabriel Villarosa. His character was caught in a love triangle with Iza Calzado and Jodi Sta. Maria in the new series. He and Jodi have worked with the film “Third World Happy” but it’s his first time working with Iza and Maricel.
“Being my first time working with them, I was so nervous. But with Iza, a lot of people you just easily connect with and kami ni Iza we just get along so well from very much from the start so it made things so much easier,” Sam said.
Based on the report, Sam Milby admitted to being intimidated by Maricel Soriano at the beginning. He shared that the actress was very supportive of him during their first few tapings. For him, Maricel served as a mother figure for younger actors like him
“Ms. Maricel she’s like the nanay on set, so kind, supportive, and so helpful and yung pagtuturo niya sa akin sa mga eksena din, she helps out so much. I just really appreciate my co-actors for all the help that they gave me and yung mga teachings ni Ms. Maricel sa akin. I’ve learned so much from her,” he added.
