Tito Sotto has this reaction to the critics of President Duterte
Critics of President Rodrigo Duterte are questioning his current health condition and this is the reaction of Senate President Tito Sotto to them.
Questions about the health of the Chief Executive have been in circulation for years now. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, critics are more determined that the Malacanang Palace should inform the public regarding this matter.
On Monday, the Palace said in a statement that President Duterte is fine and is taking regular COVID-19 testing. It was said that he is also in “perpetual isolation”, based on the report from Inquirer.
Speculations also surfaced that the president already left the country but Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made a clarification on this.
“Nilinaw ko po sa isang statement kahapon na fake news po ang pag-alis ng Pilipinas ng ating Presidente. Nananatili po siya sa Davao, hindi po siya umaalis ng Pilipinas, and his health is fine,” he said.
Senator Bong Go also released a photo of the Chief Executive at home with his family. In line with this, Senator Tito Sotto shared his reaction.
In his recent Twitter post, the Senate President shared a screenshot of the post of Senator Go.
Based on the report, Sotto said that a lot of people are disappointed again. He also criticized those people who are waiting to receive the bad news about the President.
“Dami na namang disappointed. Bakit ba gustong gusto nila na may masamang mangyari sa gobyerno? Hirap na hirap na tayo, ganyan pa sila! Mga judgemental!!!” Senator Tito Sotto said in a Viber message to reporters.
This is not the first time that Senator Bong Go has shown “proof of life” amid the critics’ question about the health status of President Duterte.
