Here’s what Donita Nose shared after she completed her COVID-19 treatment
Wowowin host Donita Nose shared that she is experiencing discrimination even after she completed her COVID-19 treatment.
Last month, Donita revealed that she tested positive for the new coronavirus. After this revelation, the TV host received support and prayers from her fans and fellow celebrities and that included Willie Revillame.
This week, she happily announced that she has recovered. However, just like other people who became COVID-19 patients, Donita also experienced discrimination.
Based on the article from PEP, the comedienne-host said, “Hindi mo talaga maiwasang ma-discriminate pag COVID patient ka. May iba talagang mga tao na hindi malawak ang pang-unawa sa sakit na ‘to.”
Donita Nose stressed that anyone could be infected. “Talagang eto… pandemya ‘to, e. Lahat, puwedeng tamaan. Artista ka, pulitiko, lahat, mayaman, mahirap, talagang tatamaan,” she said. However, the TV host said that disease is not “nakakadiri”.

She shared that she felt
unnecessarily cold treatment from her neighbors when she got sick. “Hindi man sila magsalita, mararamdaman mo sa kanila na… ‘Ay! Ano ba ‘yan?!’ May ganun,” Donita said as her neighbors went out of their homes when she was fetched by an ambulance from her home to St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City.
After her treatment, she said that her neighbors would doubt if she has really recovered. “May ibang kapitbahay na nagtatanong, ‘Ay! Nandiyan na ba siya?’ Tapos, nagtatanong sila, ‘Nandiyan na ba? Paano ‘yan? Baka delikado?’” she said.
Donita emphasize that everyone could recover and the fact that she was already allowed to go out of the hospital by the doctor means that she has recovered.
“Wala na po akong ubo, walang sipon, walang lagnat, hindi nagtatae, hindi masakit ang ulo ko, hindi nawala ang pang-amoy ko ngayon. Kumpleto po ako umuwi ngayon. So, ibig sabihin po, magaling na po ako. So, please lamang po, huwag niyo po ako pandirihan, at hindi na po ako delikado. Okay?” the Wowowin host said.
